Search Queries
A name or place entered into a search tool is delivered to the outside provider that operates that feature. The provider processes the query and supplies its response. Juniata County Criminal History does not keep or record those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained so that a response can be prepared and the exchange can be managed. Messages are not shared beyond our organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Juniata County Criminal History does not own, maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal-record information. It identifies official access points such as the Juniata County Clerk of Courts, Juniata County Sheriff's Office, Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository and PATCH, Unified Judicial System portal, and Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Website. Government custodians control the original records and their release.
Pennsylvania's Criminal History Record Information Act, 18 Pa.C.S. §§ 9101-9183, governs the collection, dissemination, completeness, security, and expungement of criminal-history record information held within the state system. The Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law, 65 P.S. §§ 67.101-67.3104, addresses access to qualifying government records. Neither law makes this private website the custodian of a Juniata County criminal file. We are not a consumer reporting agency, and visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or profiles about third parties.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search tools displayed on the website. Data entered into one of those tools is handled under that provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider determines its own retention, processing, and disclosure practices. Visitors should review those terms before submitting a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Juniata County offices, Pennsylvania courts and agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search services.
