Juniata County Arrest History
Pennsylvania State Police provide much of the law-enforcement coverage in Juniata County. A useful written request names the agency, incident or case number, date range, exact record type, and desired format. Pennsylvania's Right-to-Know Law does not force an office to create or compile a new record. It also does not turn protected criminal investigative material into a public booking product.

VINE is a notification and custody tool, not a rap sheet. Confirm urgent status with MCCF or the responsible agency because participation, data timing, and transfers can affect what appears.
PA DOC's Inmate/Parolee Locator is for state-sentenced people and parolees, not a person newly booked at MCCF. Its search can use a name, PA DOC number, State Identification Number, committing county, current location, sex, race, and age range.
A DOC profile may show a current institution, committing county, sentence status, and parole information. It does not expose internal medical, security, or placement detail, and an absent result says nothing about current MCCF custody.
Booking Logs and Recent Arrests
Juniata County has no official daily arrest log, sheriff booking blotter, or county jail roster. For a recent event, call the responsible agency or MCCF first. Next, search UJS in both local court levels for a complaint, preliminary arraignment, bail entry, or advancing prosecution. Use VINE as a participating custody-notification layer, then request the actual arrest or booking record from the office that created it.
PSP public information releases can provide a news-style supplement for incidents investigated by state police, but they are not a complete roster. A missing release does not prove that no arrest took place. Likewise, a person may leave a current-custody view after release while the agency report, court docket, booking entry, and repository cycle remain at their respective offices.
No public “Statewide Warrants” search should be used. Pennsylvania describes that application as a secure tool for authorized court staff. A county Right-to-Know request is also too slow for an urgent custody or warrant question.
Juniata County Arrests Reach PSP
Under Pennsylvania's Criminal History Record Information Act, reportable felony, misdemeanor, and certain summary arrests require fingerprinting and submission to the Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository. Someone reviewing their own record should use PSP's mailed Individual Access and Review channel rather than treating PATCH as the full subject file. If a dismissal or other disposition is absent, obtain a certified court disposition and use PSP's correction process. An expungement or Clean Slate restriction also does not erase every agency copy at the same instant.

Search uses a CAD or case number, or a last name with incident date. This service is not a general arrest-record portal.
Police audio and video fall under Act 22 rather than ordinary RTKL procedure. PSP requires a detailed written request by certified mail or hand delivery within 60 days and lists $150 for a granted recording. An appeal from denial goes to the Court of Common Pleas within 30 days and carries the documented filing and service requirements. These strict deadlines make it important to identify the desired media and event at once.
Arrests Are Not Convictions
An arrest record shows that an agency took action based on an allegation and legal authority. A conviction record reflects a guilty plea or verdict and the court's judgment. The arresting agency and MCCF document the first event. The courts document the filed charges and outcome. PSP can connect the cycle in its repository, but reporting gaps and lawful access limits mean the sources still need to be compared.

Always read the final disposition for each count. “Closed” is not a synonym for convicted, and the absence of a person from a current custody tool does not erase an older arrest event.
